The Stars Of The Postseason

Well This is officially my first blog. I've been watching the NHL playoffs rather quitely. Hoping that a team from Dallas could actually pull off a first round playoff victory. I was very pleased when the Stars finished off one of my least favorite teams, teh Ducks, and moved on. I will say that I was pulling hard for the Flames to beat the Sharks, simply because I didn't want to play another Pacific Team. But they got off to a great start and finished off teh Sharks early Monday morning in one of the best games I've ever seen. Now the Stars will take on the Red Wings starting Thursday in the Western conference.

I think that Dallas has been one of the hottest teams in the plaoffs this year, along with the Flyers. Altohugh I really don't think that Dallas' run is a huge suprise. They were on top of the Pacific divison most of the time, but started to do a typical Dallas thing and stumble into the playoffs. They have been helped a lot by the sudden hot streak of Marty Turco. He has played terrificly in the playoffs so far.

Look for the Stars to continue their hot streak and suprise a lot of Wings fans in the process...Many have said Wings in 5...but I think thats not giving enough credit to the Stars. I say Wings in sven in one of the better Conference Finals in recent memory.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Hasek in the net for a game or two. Dallas seemed to hadle him fine when they won the cup in the 99-00 season.

But good luck Wings, heres to a great series.
